Having too many emails can be a problem

July 6th, 2010 by admin

Don’t tell me about it!  I have more than ten (10) email addresses that used to be organized for different purposes.  Some of the purposes I have them for are:  One for family and relatives.  Another is for employment and company use.  The other email addresses for various on line purposes. Issues arise when I register with on line accounts with email address.  For on line business purposes, it is Google email address that I use and it always that I forgot my Google email when logging in.  I hate to admit it but it is frequent that I need to change my email address for on line business for security reasons.  When you do business on line, there are several of them that you want to protect for privacy.  It is inevitable to change your email address on those accounts especially if you start receiving abnormal volumes of spam email.

The only email address that I have not been actively using is the one with MSN or hotmail.  Hotmail was almost the same with Yahoo but it had lesser capabilities and functions then.  Until now, I still don’t attend to my hotmail as frequently with my accounts at Yahoo and Google.  Good thing, the system has memory of my user name and do not have to opt for ‘I forgot my hotmail username‘.  MSN or hotmail is not as user friendly as other email servers.  Until now, I could not find ease of use unlike the convenience I experience with others.  They may have tried to improve their system but it still lacks the ‘swiftness’ of use.  Hotmail has tried its best to equal their competitors but I don’t know why I still have the feeling of insecurity of directing emails sent to me there.
