The Bedbug is one of the medically important insects, they are one of the great travelers of the world and are readily transported via clothing, baggage, bedding, and furniture. This infestation is a common and worldwide problem, particularly in poor regions of the world, Bedbug infestations may go a long time unnoticed, and can become quite large before being detected. There are 2 main species that bite humans. The common bedbug, C. lectularius, has the most widespread and worldwide distribution; the other species, C. hemipterus, is usually confined to tropical regions. The tropical bedbug bites mostly humans, whereas the common bedbug also attacks domestic animals and bats. The Bed bug is one of those insect that can’t fly, so they transfer from one place or another by crawling or if they’re just being carried. They are not really tiny but mostly they are hardly noticeable inside the household because they are usually awake only at night and just cozily sleeping on their abode (on your bed foams, ceiling, walls, and other furniture) during daytime. They are light brown in color but they turn reddish brown after being fed by blood. They make a living out of sucking blood from their prey, they bite warm blooded animals, including us humans. Their bites are not actually painful, you will just notice you were bitten when you already scratched that itchy part where it sucked and then you’ll that bump on the skin. A lot of people have discovered innovative ways to get rid of them but it is still believe that maintaining a clean and uncluttered environment best prevent them from habituating in your place.
